Sec. 01 — The Company

An export house built around one material.

Shrinath Enterprises is a proprietorship export house registered with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. The business is focused on activated carbon for water, air and process applications.

The current product programme covers wood-based, coconut-shell-based, coal-based, sawdust-based and chemically activated carbon in powder and granular forms. Supply is matched to the buyer's target mesh size, adsorption value and other requested parameters — the specification comes first, the bag second.

Sec. 03 — Carbon, Explained

What activated carbon actually does.

Activated carbon is carbonised organic material — wood, coconut shell, coal or sawdust — processed at high temperature to open up an internal network of micro-pores. That pore structure is what gives it a very large internal surface area relative to its weight, which is what allows it to adsorb impurities, colour bodies, odours and dissolved organics from a liquid or gas stream passing over it.

Powder and granular forms behave differently in a process: powder offers fast contact for batch decolourisation, while granular material is built for a fixed bed a liquid or gas can flow through continuously without excessive pressure drop.

Not sure which base fits?

Send the contaminant, we'll match the grade.

If the carbon base isn't obvious, describe what needs to be removed, the process water or air stream, and the target quantity — the requirement can be matched from there.

Two authentic finished-product photographs were supplied — a powder sample and a sieve-labelled granular sheet — so each is used twice above: the powder photo appears as a full-sample overview (wood-based card) and a close-up texture crop (sawdust-based card), while the granular sheet is cropped to its two genuinely different sieve sizes, 8×12 and 6×12, shown side by side in the original photograph. The diagram on the chemically-activated card is an illustration of pore structure, not a product photograph. Full specification sheets for coal-based, sawdust-based and chemically activated carbon are prepared against the buyer's requirement — see the specification section below.

Specification issued against the buyer's target parameter

Coal-based, sawdust-based and chemically activated carbon are supplied against the requested iodine/M.B. value, mesh size, ash and moisture limits rather than a fixed published table. Share the application and target parameters through the enquiry form and a specification sheet will be prepared against that requirement.

Sec. 07 — Applications

The end-use, not just a black granule.

Real industrial photography sets the application context; the authentic supplied product photos remain the proof of actual material appearance.
